Tender opportunity: Graphic designer/Illustrator + Install

Narberth Town Council is commissioning a graphic designer and/or digital illustrator to create a visually engaging, historically informative, and functional illustrated map of Narberth. The map will serve a dual purpose: to highlight the town’s rich architectural and cultural heritage and to act as a practical wayfinding tool for visitors.

The final artwork will be printed and installed as:

A window covering in the undercroft/Rebecca’s Cell at the rear of the Old Town Hall
An interpretive board for an existing external frame on the side of No.47 retail premises

The successful applicant will be responsible for design, print production, and overseeing installation of the final pieces as part of the project scope.

Timeline:
Brief issued: August 2025
Designer appointed: Early September 2025
Concept development: September 2025
Final artwork sign-off: By 10th October 2025
Printing & production: Mid-October 2025
Installation completed: By 31st October 2025
