Christmas Lights – Public Consultation Update

Christmas Lights – Public Consultation Update

At its Ordinary Meeting held on Tuesday 13th January 2026, Narberth Town Council considered representations received regarding the Christmas lights installed during 2025.

The Town Council resolved that a public consultation will take place to inform future Christmas lights arrangements.

Responsibility for planning and administering the consultation has been delegated to the Community, Events and Tourism Committee, which will begin this work at its meeting on 27th January 2026. This will include agreeing the consultation format and timetable.

In the interest of the prudent use of public funds, the Town Clerk has sought to acknowledge the representations received by email where contact details were provided. A number of email addresses were unavailable or unsuccessful, and not all signatories supplied contact details. This public notice is therefore issued to ensure that all interested parties are kept informed.

Further details, including how and when residents and businesses will be able to take part, will be published once confirmed through the Council’s usual communication channels.

Should any individual or organisation wish to submit further representations, these may be emailed to the Town Clerk or made as part of the public consultation once details have been published.
